Is a yard the same as a ton?

No a yard equals 1.3 tons.

Are you able to deliver 2 materials at the same time?

Depends on the quantity of each material and what truck we have available.

Is there a minimum for delivery?

Normally 10 Tons East Valley & 20 Tons West Valley.

But call us we try to make exceptions and we may have a truck in your area.

What does material look like?

Material is sold as it comes out of quarry at the time of delivery. We cannot guarantee any exact color, shade or size of the material. We have zero control over the amount of crusher dust or fines in the material.

What are fines and how much will be in material?

Material being crushed will produce fines. Anything smaller than the desired size material will be considered fines. For the most part, fines are considered powder. As stated to us by the rock pits, sized crushed material (screened) can consist of 8% to 33% fines and minus materials or decomposed granites can consist of 59% to 87% fines. Rip Rap may contain some dirt in it.

Where can material be dumped at?

Material is normally dumped street front of yard or driveway. You can mark the dumped spot with a cone, or object to assign dump location . Dump location is left to the discretion of the driver on what is the safest dump location, we try to accommodate all requests.
